Sept. 5 (UPI) -- A group of boaters traversing a Welsh river in canoes stopped to rescue a sheep that fell into the river and became tangled in weeds at the shoreline.
A video captured by the tourists Aug. 27 on the River Wye shows a man working to free a sheep that was tangled in weeds by the river bank.
The man is able to lift the sheep into the canoe and take it to dry land.
''Whilst canoeing along the River Wye, one of my fellow paddlers noticed a sheep that had fallen into the river,'' the filmer wrote online. ''I set about to rescue the stricken animal and I was successful."
