Bear takes a swim in Los Angeles-area backyard pool

May 2 (UPI) -- A California man's home security cameras captured video of an unusual intruder, a black bear, "skinny dipping" in his backyard pool.

Vijay Kotrappa posted a video to YouTube showing the black bear approaching the back of his La Verne home about 11:16 a.m. Monday and climbing into his backyard pool.

The bear swims laps around the pool for several minutes.

The video ends with cellphone camera footage of the bruin climbing out of the water, shaking off, and climbing over a wall to exit the yard.

Kotrappa joked the "cool bear" was "skinny dipping" in the pool.
