Dog comes to the rescue of cat with pizza rolls bag stuck on its head

LOUISA, Ky., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- A garbage-digging Kentucky cat that ended up with a pizza rolls bag stuck on its head got a little help from an unlikely source -- man's best friend.

Jason Smith posted a video to YouTube showing the disoriented kitty stumbling around the back of a trash-filled pickup truck Monday in Louisa.

"I walked outside and saw the cat with the bag on its head. I thought people might think it was funny, so I recorded it," Smith wrote online.

The situation turned even more amusing when the cat found its way to the ground, where it was greeted by Smith's dog.

The feline initially seemed to rebuff the canine's attempts to help, but the dog was eventually successful in pulling the bag off the cat, which scurried away with its sense of sight restored.
