Bird with poor understanding of golf steals and bounces ball

CAMPO GRANDE, Brazil, June 6 (UPI) -- A large bird with an apparently erroneous understanding of the game of golf snatched up a ball from a Brazilian course and bounced it like a basketball on a concrete path.

The video, posted to YouTube by Alex Baggett, shows the large bird, a seriema, runing thorough a golf course in Campo Grande and snatching up a golf ball in its beak.

The bird runs for a nearby concrete golf cart path and starts forcefully bouncing the ball in a way that caused some online commenters to joke it was attempting to combine the games of golf and basketball.

The seriema is believed to have mistaken the golf ball for a delicious egg that it attempted to crack on the path.
