A Texas fisherman narrowly escaped an attack from an Atlantic sharpnose shark while kayaking near Corpus Christi. The kayaker reeled the shark onto his boat and managed to avoid its bite as the shark attempted to break free from the line.

Video shows the kayaker reeling in the Atlantic sharpnose shark and pulling it onto the boat before it began flailing about while trying to escape the line and turned its head toward the man.
The man can be seen quickly raising his legs to escape the shark's bite and said that ultimately no one was harmed and "all ended well."
