LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles puppy owner shared video of her 4-month-old golden retriever's unusual trick -- giving himself a bath.

The owner of a golden retriever named Brady posted a video to YouTube under the username BradyTheGoldenPup showing how the hygiene-minded pooch bathes himself without any human help.

The video shows Brady rinsing off his body -- the soap gets only a small lick from his tongue -- before pushing down the lever to drain the tub and climbing out.

Brady pulls down a hanging towel and drapes it over himself before heading to his doggie bed for a post-bath nap.

"Brady, a 4 month old Golden Retriever, takes daily showers and baths entirely on his own. He climbs into the shower on his own, plays in the water, gets out, dries himself with a towel, and then takes a nap," the video's description reads.
