German shepherd wears video camera at canine pool party

LAKEWOOD, Ohio, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- An Ohio man who took his German shepherd to a public pool's end-of-season event strapped a GoPro to the canine for a dog's-eye-view of the pool party.

Keith Knittel, who posted the video to YouTube, said he attached a GoPro camera to Lola, his German shepherd, when he took her to a Lakewood, Ohio, public pool for the "Puppy Plunge" end-of-season event.

The video shows the dog's point of view as she jumps into the water after a tennis ball, swims and approaches other canines at the event.

The camera also captured moments including Lola's leap from the diving board and a dizzying few seconds when she shakes the water from her fur.
