Giant panda Bao Bao spends day playing in snow

WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Giant panda Bao Bao had the best snow day in Washington D.C. as she spent her first time in the snow rolling around and playing with her mother.

While Washingtonians slogged to work through a mess of traffic and the 114th Congress got through its first day, Bao Bao had the best snow day. The 16-month-old panda was seen a video released by the National Zoo having as much fun as a panda could have in snow. She rolled down hills and rough-housed with mom Mei Xeng.

Another animal favorite of Washington also had a great day. White House photgrapher Pete Souza tweeted a photo of First dog Bo Obama playing in the snow.
