TORONTO, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- The Toronto Zoo released a video of one of their polar bear cubs taking his first steps in snow.

The cub, one of three male cubs born to the polar bear Aurora, was the only one to survive. At about 2-months-old it was introduced to snow for the first time.

The cub has no name yet but keepers at the Toronto Zoo have closely monitored him and are encouraged by his healthy growth. The cub joins other famous Internet bears as the giant panda cub, Bao Bao, at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington D.C.
