PITTSBURGH, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh police said they connected four teenagers to a theft after they posted pictures of themselves posing with the loot on Facebook.

Police said the teenagers, two 14-year-olds, a 17-year-old and Isaiah Cutler, 18, took cash, candy and cigarettes worth a total of more than $9,000 from Elliot's Town Market while the store was closed Dec. 12 and posed a picture of themselves posing with their haul on Facebook less than an hour later, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Thursday.

"I've not seen anything like this in my 18 years," Detective Valerie Milie said. "People post things on Facebook that they shouldn't, and once it's out there, it's out there."

Police said they arrested the minors and are searching for Cutler, whose bedroom was the setting for the photograph.
