Police: Man stole iPhone from boy, 6

PALM BAY, Fla., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said they are using security camera footage to try to identify a man who snatched an iPhone from the hands of a 6-year-old boy.

Palm Bay police said an employee of Lin's Garden restaurant told detectives the suspect, described as a black man in his late teens, came into the eatery briefly Oct. 15 then returned a short while later and grabbed the phone from the hands of the employee's 6-year-old son.

Investigators said no one was injured and they have security camera footage revealing the man's face.

"Fortunately we have a good image of the suspect from the surveillance video," Detective Luis Figueroa said. "We're hoping someone can help identify him."
