Sills to quit as Lincoln Center head

NEW YORK, April 2 (UPI) -- Beverly Sills is resigning as the chairwoman of New York's Lincoln Center performing arts facility. Sills, 72, is the leading fund-raiser for the center. She will remain in the post until a successor is picked.
