Meghan Trainor, Daryl Sabara celebrate one-year anniversary

July 3 (UPI) -- Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara rang in their one-year anniversary over the weekend.

The 23-year-old singer and 25-year-old actor dedicated sweet messages to each other Sunday on their first anniversary as a couple.

"An entire year with the love of my life. I am truly the luckiest girl in the world," Trainor captioned a video on Instagram. "Thank you @darylsabara for loving me and making me feel beautiful and special every single day this year. Thank you for making me a better songwriter."

"I love you with all of my heart and shout out to the dopest brother who made me ball my eyes out when he made this video for us @ryan.trainor," she added.

Sabara shared a clip of Trainor rehearsing in her dressing room on tour. He captioned the video with "I love her" and a heart emoji.

"From the moment I met you I was mesmerized by everything you said and everything you do," the actor gushed. "You are the greatest person I know, and I'm so lucky to call you my best friend. I will love you forever and for always. You are my whole world. Thank you for the most amazing year. Happy Anniversary @meghan_trainor."

Trainor said in the May issue of Cosmopolitan that she and Sabara went bowling and to karaoke on their first date. She told the magazine the actor impressed her with his kissing and open admiration of her body.

"He kissed me at the bowling alley," the star recalled. "He was the best kisser ever. I know I'm really good at kissing, but I was shocked when he was."

"I never really felt sexy with guys before," she confessed. "No one expressed how they liked my body out loud in the bedroom until I met Daryl. He is obsessed with it -- every inch. And that has improved my confidence more than even [my song 'All About That] Bass' did."

Trainor last released the album Thank You in May 2016. Sabara is known for playing Juni Cortez in the Spy Kids movies, and has also appeared on the TV series Weeds and Wizards of Waverly Place.
