Briana DeJesus of 'Teen Mom 2' welcomes second child

July 3 (UPI) -- Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus welcomed her second child over the weekend.

MTV News reported the 23-year-old reality star gave birth to daughter Stella Star on Sunday.

DeJesus confirmed the news by sharing a photo of a "Welcome Baby" sheet from Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, Fla. The sheet shows Stella was born at 1:57 p.m. weighing six pounds, 11.6 ounces.

"What a blessing," the star captioned the picture on Instagram.

DeJesus is already mom to 5-year-old daughter Nova with ex-boyfriend Devoin Austin. She announced in January that she was expecting with her then-beau, Luis, and later confirmed she was pregnant with a baby girl.

"Stella, you will be loved and everybody can't wait to meet you!" she wrote on Instagram following her baby shower in May.

DeJesus came to fame on the MTV series 16 & Pregnant and later starred on Teen Mom 3. She confirmed in June that she will star on Teen Mom 2 Season 8 with Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer.

"[I'm] excited to continue sharing my story because things left off right around when life was becoming hectic and now I get to finish sharing that story," the star told E! News at the time.
