OR-YEHUDA, Israel, June 9 (UPI) -- The Israeli military has contracted Magic Software Enterprises to integrate a next-generation upgrade to an information technology platform.
Magic Software says it will work with Minerva Systems on the IT upgrade that officials say will provide the Israeli military police a modernized application platform and integration suite.
The upgrade will provide the military police's core IT systems with the latest versions of the uniPaaS platform. Magic Software says the IT modernization will provide the military police with on-premise application development and deployment along with establishing IT capabilities in the cloud.
The announced contract, which additionally includes the iBolt code-free business integration suite, is part of an effort by Israeli defense authorities to strengthen information security.
"Once implemented, both systems will provide the military police with real-time status reporting and a full picture of nation-wide operations at any given snapshot, for hundreds of system users," Yoram Aharon, Magic Software Israel chief executive officer, said in a statement.
