Kris Bryant celebrates Las Vegas wedding with Chicago Cubs

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- National League MVP and two important rings should make for one heck of an offseason for Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant.

He added one of those bands Saturday, when he married girlfriend Jessica Delp in Las Vegas. The duo was engaged for a year and dated for eight years before getting hitched in its respective hometown. Delp and Bryant had their engagement photo shoot at Wrigley Field.

The 25-year-old Bryant invited a large roster of friends, including: groomsman Anthony Rizzo, Albert Almora Jr., John Lackey, Miguel Montero, Jason Heyward, Justin Grimm, Travis Wood, Kyle Schwarber, and Dexter Fowler.

"So happy to share this moment with the best person I know! You sacrifice everything just so I can live out my dream. Now let's go get another ring," Bryant wrote on Instagram after the Cubs won a World Series.

Bryant hit .292 with 39 home runs and 102 RBI last season for the Cubs.
