Forge Composite says Thor LVX is ready

COVINGTON, Ky., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Kentucky-based Valley Forge Composite Technologies says its contraband threat detection system is developmentally ready for final testing.

Valley Forge announced its Thor LVX contraband detection system is operational. The Thor LVX technology, capable of detecting illicit threats in cargo and shipping containers, is designed to support port security among other scanning applications.

Officials say the development of the Thor LVX has advanced successfully and is ready for final testing.

"We are very excited that after eight years we can now see the culmination of all of our efforts in a fully functional machine and are looking forward to expanding our sales and marketing," Lou Brothers, Valley Forge chief executive officer, said in a statement.
