NEW YORK, June 8 (UPI) -- Jimmy Fallon enlisted actor Ethan Hawke to sing country tunes focused around posts found on the popular FMyLife.com website.

The two appeared in cowboy hats, holding guitars on Tuesday night's episode of The Tonight Show to add melodies to some of the recent posts on the site.

FMyLife.com is a public forum where people who have had bad days post the details of their personal misfortune. Their posts customarily end in with the shorthand "FML."

"Today, I was washing my hands in the bathroom, looked up and saw a spider on my cheek. Slapped myself in the face as hard as I could to kill it. It turns out the spider was on the mirror," one of the men sang before belting out "F My Life."
