The preview features glimpses of the new cast, which includes Emily Alyn Lind, Eli Brown, Whitney Peak, Thomas Doherty, Jordan Alexander and Evan Mock.

"You've gotten so comfortable -- thinking you're in control of your image, your actions, the narrative -- that you forgot one thing, I can see you," Bell says as Gossip Girl. "And before I'm through, I'll make sure you see you too."

Gossip Girl is a sequel and reboot to the CW series of the same name, which itself was based on the Cecily von Ziegesar book series. The original TV series aired from 2007 to 2012 and starred Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick. Bell also voiced Gossip Girl on the show.

The HBO Max reboot is developed by original executive producer Joshua Safran and executive produced by original series creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. Safran also executive produces and serves as showrunner.
