May 28 (UPI) -- The new contestants for Season 5 of British reality series Love Island were announced on Instagram Tuesday.
The new season, which will debut on June 2 on ITV2, will feature five women and seven men. Love Island follows a group of singles who must couple up every few days to avoid being eliminated from a villa.
The five women include 21-year-old beauty therapist Amber Gill, 26-year-old cabin crew manager Amy Hart, 28-year-old pharmacist Anna Vakili, 21-year-old surfer Lucie Donlan and 23-year-old scientist Yewande Biala.
Vakili, who refers to herself as Storm Anna, says that she is sometimes compared to Kim Kardashian and that the first thing she notices about a guy is their hygiene.
The male contestants include 24-year-old gym owner Anton Danyluk, 28-year-old aircraft engineer Callum Macleod, 22-year-old catering company owner Joe Garratt, 27-year-old firefighter Michael Griffiths, 20-year-old chef and semi-pro rugby player Sherif Lanre, 20-year-old boxer Tommy Fury and 23-year-old ballroom and Latin dancer Curtis Pritchard.
"I can't wait to get into the villa and salsa into somebody's life and sweep them off their feet with a nice dance move," Pritchard said.
CBS recently announced that a U.S. version of Love Island will be coming to the network on July 9.
