Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Courtney Ford has been cast in Season 3 of The CW's DC Comics ensemble series, Legends of Tomorrow.

Ford will be featured on the superhero drama as Eleanor, the daughter of Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), who was previously the main villain in Season 4 of Arrow, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Darhk is set to be resurrected following his death on Arrow and will join a gathering of villains who come together in order to take out the Legends. Eleanor is described as being manipulative and highly intelligent, just like her super-powered father.

Legends co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim while speaking with TV Line, noted that Darhk will be "very different" from the last time viewers saw him. "Things didn't end so well for him there," Guggenheim said. "He also has a wealth of experience now under belt that he's going to be able to bring to bear."

Ford, who has been featured in Supernatural and True Blood, will be seen on the series alongside her real-life husband Brandon Routh, who portrays hero The Atom on Legends.
