July 19 (UPI) -- Gilmore Girls stars Melissa McCarthy and Yanic Truesdale enjoyed a chance reunion this week.
The 46-year-old actress and 47-year-old actor, who played Sookie St. James and Michel Gerard on the show, posed for a photo together Tuesday while on separate vacations in Greece.
"I love when this happens! By coincidence, we both booked @melissamccarthy a vacation at the same time in Greece! #magicaltiming #bestvacations," Truesdale captioned the picture on Instagram.
Truesdale had shared a photo Sunday of himself while reading Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham's book, Talking as Fast as I Can, on the beach. Graham portrayed Lorelai Gilmore on the series.
"Catching up on my reading in Greece. At last a vacation! Proud of my friend Lauren for her funny and entertaining new book! #talentedactress #friendship #bestvacations," Truesdale wrote.
McCarthy and Truesdale starred throughout Gilmore Girls' original seven-season run on The WB/The CW, and returned for the Netflix revival, A Year in the Life, which aired in November. McCarthy said in January that she's done with the show.
"No, [I wouldn't return as Sookie], but I would come back as Lorelai. And that is a challenge to Lauren Graham," she joked to Entertainment Tonight.
McCarthy will instead star in a number of films, including Life of the Party with husband Ben Falcone and The Happy Time Murders. Truesdale last appeared on the A&E series The Cleaner in May.
