April 7 (UPI) -- Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford are celebrating nine years together on Today.

The 52-year-old television personality called in on Friday's episode to wish Gifford a happy anniversary as co-hosts after adopting daughter Haley Joy in February.

"I want to say something to you, Kath, on our ninth anniversary," Kotb, who is on maternity leave, said. "My life has changed so profoundly since I met you. I told you this before, but I cannot believe the path my life took after our lives intersected. So for every single day of the nine years, I love you."

"Hoda, I love you with all my heart," Gifford responded before praising Kotb and former TV partner Regis Philbin. "I have been blessed two times to work with the most extraordinary people in the world, and it just keeps getting better."

Kotb and Gifford have co-hosted Today's fourth hour, Kathie Lee & Hoda, since 2008. The new mom introduced Haley to Gifford last week, and shared a photo of the moment on Instagram.

"My girl met my girl and my face exploded! @todayshow @klgandhoda," she wrote.

Kotb announced Haley's adoption Feb. 21 on Today. Gifford was moved to tears on the episode as she congratulated her co-anchor and best friend.

"Everybody loves you," she said. "You have so much to give other people and we're so happy to see something so wonderful happen to you because you deserve it."
