The sitcom stars Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Dan Levy and Annie Murphy as members of a previously wealthy, big-city family attempting to start new lives in a rural community after they lose their fortune. Chris Elliott plays the small town's mayor and Jennifer Robertson plays his wife.

Created by the Levys, the series airs on CBC in Canada and Pop in the United States. Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming on Netflix.

"Schitt's Creek has been renewed for another season on @CBC and @PopTV and I couldn't be happier," Dan Levy tweeted.
