Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Married at First Sight couple Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner are expecting again after losing their son.
Otis, 30, announced in an Instagram post Tuesday that she's pregnant and expecting with Hehner, 33, six months after having a miscarriage.
"We are PREGNANT!!! Our sweet Baby Hehner is due this August," she captioned a photo of her baby bump. "We love [our first son] so much and are so happy to know he's looking down from Heaven taking care of his little sister/brother."
Otis had a miscarriage at four months pregnant in July, and subsequently named her unborn child Johnathan. She told People she and Hehner had been hoping for a "rainbow baby" -- a child born after a miscarriage -- since.
"Doug and I have been praying and not so patiently waiting to have our rainbow baby since we lost our first born," the star said.
"We are feeling so blessed and truly thankful for this little miracle growing inside of me. Being a mother has been a long awaited dream of mine. It goes without saying that Doug is going to be the best daddy ever," she added.
Otis, a Bachelor Season 16 contestant, and Hehner tied the knot in 2014 after meeting on Married at First Sight. The FYI series sees experts pair couples who have agreed to marry when they first meet.
