"Oh yeah Calliope Maeve has hit the world. Currently wearing a onesie that says 'Bard in Training.' #LessThanThree," she wrote to her 2.93 million followers.

Day confirmed in a later tweet that she named her daughter after Calliope, the Greek muse of poetry, and Maeve, an Irish fairy queen of legend. Actor Brandon Routh and Supernatural star Misha Collins were among those to offer their congratulations.

"Congrats, Felicia -- and welcome to Planet Earth, Calliope!" Collins wrote.

"@mishacollins thank you! I named her specifically so she's go to a liberal arts college lol," the new mom jokingly responded.

Day had announced her pregnancy this month with a photo of her baby bump, writing, "She's coming in about three weeks so I guess I should announce this and stuff." She is known for playing Vi on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charlie Bradbury on Supernatural.
