'Sneaky Pete' series to debut on Amazon Jan. 13

SEATTLE , Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Sneaky Pete, a new series about con artists, will stream in its entirety on Amazon Prime Jan. 13.

The show stars Giovanni Ribisi, Marin Ireland, Margo Martindale, Peter Gerety, Libe Barer, Shane McRae and Michael Drayer.

Executive produced by Graham Yost, Bryan Cranston, Michael Dinner, Fred Golan, James Degus and Seth Gordon, it focuses on scammer Marius, who gets out of prison only to find himself hunted by the vicious gangsterĀ he once robbed, a synopsis said.

"We're excited that 2017 will be starting with Sneaky Pete, an inside look at the world of con artists," Joe Lewis, head of comedy and drama for Amazon Studios, said in a statement Thursday. "The remarkable cast, led by Giovanni Ribisi, and innovative producers Bryan Cranston and Graham Yost have made a fantastic series that we're excited to bring to customers."

Amazon Prime is the home to celebrated original series such as Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle, Goliath, Red Oaks and Man in the High Castle.
