Segarra will play Adrian Chase, aka Vigilante, as a series regular. The character teams with Mayor Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), aka Arrow, after becoming Star City's new district attorney.

In the DC comics, Chase is a New York district attorney who turns vigilante after mobsters kill his family. The character excels at hand-to-hand combat, marksmanship and the lariat.

In addition to Amell, Segarra joins David Ramsey, Willa Holland and Paul Blackthorne, Emily Bett Rickards and John Barrowman. Echo Kellum, who portrays Curtis Holt, will be promoted to series regular in Season 5.

Arrow showrunner Wendy Mericle told TV Guide in May the Season 4 finale's title, "Schism," is "a good clue" for what Season 5 is about. She also said the new season will bring "some big changes on the show."

Season 5 will premiere in the fall. Segarra is known for playing Billy on Sirens and Justin Voight on Chicago P.D., and also portrayed Emilio Estefan in the Gloria Estefan biographical musical On Your Feet.
