Eventually, Nate becomes Citizen Steel in homage to his grandfather; however, it remains unclear if that will happen on the show. Notably, the Justice Society of America was teased during the end of Season 1.

"We're planting a big flag that season 2 of Legends will not only feature the Legends of Tomorrow, but also the JSA," executive producer Marc Guggenheim explained to Entertainment Weekly recently.

Zano is the second casting shakeup with Legends of Tomorrow following Ciara Renée's (Hawkgirl) exit from the show following the ending of Season 1.

In related DC television news, actor Tyler Hoechlin has been cast as Superman on the CW's new series Supergirl which the network acquired from CBS.
