LOS ANGELES, May 17 (UPI) -- Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas discussed dating, friendship and street performances as The Late Late Show host James Corden's latest Carpool Karaoke guests.

The duo helped Corden drive to work in a clip for Monday night's episode, and were candid about the lack of romance in their 10-year friendship.

"I don't know if you've noticed but I kinda go for older guys, no offense," Lovato responded to her driver when asked whether she and Jonas have ever shared an erotic or romantic connection. Corden continued to focus on Jonas' love life, grilling him on his previous decision to wear a purity ring and obviously not anymore.

"When did you decide to ditch the ring?" Corden asked.

"I had a real relationship, with an adult, and I fell in love actually. I fell in love and then I decided it was time to take the purity ring off," Jonas said. "Are we gonna keep talking about my dating life?"

"I remember my first purity ring," Lovato joked.

The threesome rocked out to Lovato's "Heart Attack" and "Stone Cold," Jonas' "Jealous" and "Close," and his brother's band DNCE's "Cake By The Ocean," before taking the show outdoors. As a "test show" Jonas, Lovato and Corden performed a free street concert for passers by, singing "Confident."
