LOS ANGELES, April 11 (UPI) -- Game of Thrones debuted a dramatic new Season 6 trailer Monday.

The preview shows Jon Snow (Kit Harington) dead at Castle Black, Jaqen H'ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) give Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) a second chance, and the Night's King (Richard Brake) assemble his army as Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) promises, "The dead are coming."

The trailer also teases an enormous dragon, thought to be Drogon, which Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) points out "do not do well in captivity." Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), aka Khaleesi and the Mother of Dragons, is seen captive.

Williams, Dinklage and Clarke were among the stars who attended the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere Sunday in Los Angeles. Williams addressed Jon Snow's fate on the red carpet, telling Vanity Fair fans shouldn't hold out hope.

"Lots of people have asked me about Jon and lots of people have been very disappointed," the actress said. "It's really a shame that he is not here this season, but there are loads of other interesting story lines -- like mine!"

"How many people have died on Game of Thrones? Get over it!" Daniel Portman, who plays Podrick Payne, added. "I know it's a bit harsh, but get over it -- there are loads of other characters for you to be getting on with."

Game of Thrones will return April 24 on HBO. The series co-stars Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark and Carice van Houten as Melisandre.
