Freddie Prinze Jr. to host star-studded, unscripted comedy series

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., April 2 (UPI) -- Actor Freddie Prinze Jr. is to host First Impressions, an unscripted comedy competition series to debut May 10, USA Network said.

The half-hour show will also regularly feature Saturday Night Live icon Dana Carvey as an "expert in residence."

Other comedy stars lined up to coach the show's aspiring impressionists are Steve Carell, Jay Leno, Kevin Nealon, Tom Arnold, Jon Lovitz, Yvette Nicole Brown and Kate Flannery.

"First Impressions gives up-and-coming impressionists a unique opportunity to share their skills with the master," Prinze Jr. said in a statement Friday. "I've always been a huge fan of Dana and watching him in action, working with our talented competitors, is incredible."
