Steve Harvey and Ariadna Gutiérrez to appear together on 'Al Rojo Vivo' Tuesday

MIAMI , Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez and comedian Steve Harvey are to talk about last month's botched Miss Universe crowning on Tuesday's edition of Al Rojo Vivo with María Celeste Arrarás.

This will mark the first time the pair appear together to address the media about how Harvey mistakenly declared Gutiérrez the winner of the pageant when she was actually the runner-up to Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, who earned the top title.

Harvey quickly apologized, but the incident made headlines around the world. Harvey and Gutiérrez have not seen or spoken to each other since the debacle.

"In the interview, Ariadna Gutiérrez and Steve Harvey give a detailed explanation of what unfolded that evening when the host accidentally declared her the winner," Telemundo said in a press release. "Harvey also shares a message with the Colombian people, while Miss Colombia reveals whether or not she forgives him for the shocking error that ended her dreams of becoming Miss Universe."
