Gov. Chris Christie to appear on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'

NEW YORK, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who is campaigning to be the Republican candidate in the 2016 presidential race, is to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, NBC said.

Christie is scheduled to appear on the Aug. 31 edition of the late-night, chat program, which tapes in New York.

This marks Christie's third trip to the Tonight Show studio, but his first appearance since announcing his 2016 run for president.

During his June 12, 2014 visit, Christie and Fallon celebrated Father's Day with a presentation of "The Evolution of Dad Dancing." To date, the video clip has gotten more than 9 million hits on YouTube.
