LOS ANGELES, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Derek Hough will return for Dancing with the Stars season 21.

Hough will compete against Smirnoff, Val Chmerkovskiy, Witney Carson, Mark Ballas, Allison Holker, Artem Chigvintsev, Sharna Burgess and Peta Murgatroyd. The dancers' celebrity partners will be revealed Sept. 2 on Good Morning America.

Hough previously appeared on seasons 5 through 11 and 13 through 20, and is the only dancer to have won five times -- with Brooke Burke (season 7), Nicole Scherzinger (season 10), Jennifer Grey (season 11), Kellie Pickler (season 16) and Amber Riley (season 17).

Chmerkovskiy and actress Rumer Willis won season 20 in May, and season 21 will premiere Sept. 14 on ABC. The reality competition sees professional dancers partnered with celebrities as they perform routines for judge points and audience votes.
