UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., July 13 (UPI) -- NBC has posted online a video of country music icon Dolly Parton telling a young actress she will star in the network's Parton biopic Coat of Many Colors.

"@DollyPartonsurprises Alyvia Lind with the news that she will portray little Dolly in NBC's #CoatOfManyColors," the network tweeted along with the nearly 3-minute clip.

"She thinks she's here to meet some more executives like she's done so many times. So, I'm here to tell her she got the part and I'm more excited than she is," Parton told the camera as she opened the door to where the actress was waiting.

Hugging the girl, Parton said: "You have been chosen to play little Dolly in the movie. How's that?"

All the wide-eyed Alyvia could do was cover her mouth and say, "Oh, my God!" over and over.

"You get the part and I am so honored and flattered," Parton continued. "You're going to be great."

"Thank you," Alyvia finally managed through her excitement. "This is so cool."
