Norm Macdonald, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Roseanne Barr to judge 'Last Comic Standing'

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., March 12 (UPI) -- Former Saturday Night Live cast member Norm Macdonald is joining Roseanne Barr and Keenen Ivory Wayans on the judges' panel for the competition series Last Comic Standing, NBC announced Thursday.

Comedy Central roast veteran Anthony Jeselnik will serve as the new host of the series where funny people compete for a prize package worth $250,000, including a development deal for their own television show.

Wanda Sykes and Page Hurwitz, producing partners at Push It Productions, will once again executive produce this season, along with Javier Winnik.

"We are excited that Norm is joining Roseanne and Keenen in helping us find America's newest comedy star," Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming for NBC Entertainment, said in a statement. "This is a hugely talented and iconic panel. Anthony will add his unique quick-witted humor as the host of the show."
