LOS ANGELES, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Kathy Griffin is confirmed for Fashion Police.

The 54-year-old actress will replace late host Joan Rivers on the E! series. Rivers co-hosted the show with Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos from its premiere in 2010 until her death in September.

"I get it! These are some big shoes I'm going to fill. Joan was truly one of a kind," Griffin said in a statement. "Now I hope you will accept me for me. I'm just Kathy. Did I say I'm just Kathy? I mean I'm Kathy [expletive]ing Griffith and you celebrities better strap yourself in, as I am taking no prisoners. I am not holding back, so DAMMIT let's have some fun!"

Griffin revealed last week she and Rivers discussed her joining Fashion Police before the comedian's death. New episodes will premiere January 12, 2015, and Kotsiopoulos will be replaced by stylist Brad Goreski, of The Rachel Zoe Project and It's a Brad, Brad World fame.

"Kathy just feels right, and Brad brings a fun, new voice to join Giuliana and Kelly in this ensemble," executive producer Melissa Rivers said. "I'm excited to see where this panel takes this series my mother so adored in this next incarnation."
