'Mama' June Shannon won't be fully paid for final 'Honey Boo Boo' season

ATLANTA, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- TLC is invoking the morals clause in "Mama" June Shannon's contract and refusing to pay her full salary for the un-aired episodes of her Georgia-set reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

The series was canceled after Shannon reportedly resumed a romance with her ex-boyfriend and convicted child molester Mark McDaniel, who was released from prison several months ago after serving a 10-year sentence.

TLC said it wouldn't air future installments of the program because it feels Shannon is putting her children at risk.

The rest of the show's cast -- including the titular 9-year-old pageant contestant Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, her father "Sugar Bear" Mike Thompson and various relatives -- will be paid in full, TMZ reported, adding TLC docked Shannon's pay significantly because it blames her entirely for the cancellation of the series after four seasons.

Shannon has repeatedly denied dating McDaniel, however, recently published photos show them together. Some of the pictures show McDaniel with Honey Boo Boo, as well.

Shannon's 20-year-old daughter, Anna "Chickadee" Shannon, has publicly revealed she was McDaniel's victim and expressed her feelings of betrayal that her mother would start seeing him again after what he did to her. She has also said she is concerned he might harm her younger sisters Honey Boo Boo, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon.
