LOS ANGELES, June 16 (UPI) -- Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently revived "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets."

The late night program aired a special basketball edition of the segment on Sunday to coincide with the NBA championship finals. New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire, Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins and Boston Celtics forward Kris Humphries are some of the players who read mean tweets about themselves aloud.

"Can't lie, Amare Stoudemire looks homeless," Stoudemire reads from Twitter user @axel_g13.

Many of the tweets made the players laugh, such as "Damarcus Cousins is a emotional lesbian" from @idisrespecthoez. Other posts were more mean-spirited.

"@KrisHumphries [expletive] YOU! You're so pathetic! Seriously kill yourself please. XX," Humphries read from @DavidMateDi.
