Emilia Clarke to play Sarah Connor in 'Terminator' reboot

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- British actress Emilia Clarke has signed on to play Sarah Connor in the next installment of the "Terminator" film franchise, Deadline.com reported.

The time-shifting, science-fiction film is to be helmed by Alan Taylor, a director with whom Clarke worked on the TV show "Game of Thrones."

Jason Clarke is in talks to play her son John, while Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to return in his iconic cyborg role, the entertainment industry trade website said.
