Christian Slater marries Brittany Lopez in Fla.

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Christian Slater's publicist told People.com Tuesday the actor has married Brittany Lopez, his girlfriend of three years, in Florida.

The ceremony took place Monday at the courthouse in Coral Gables.

The couple went to pick up a marriage license, but spontaneously decided to get married right then and there, People.com said.

Slater's film credits include "Bed of Roses," "Untamed Heart," "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves," "Young Guns 2," "Heathers" and "The Legend of Billy Jean."
