Chad Michael Murray and Kenzie Dalton break up

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Chad Michael Murray's publicist says the U.S. actor has ended his seven-year engagement to Kenzie Dalton.

The couple "quietly parted ways earlier in the year," Murray's representative told People.com Friday.

No reason was given for the split.

Murray, 32, met Dalton, 25, in 2005 when she guest starred on his TV show, "One Tree Hill." They announced their engagement the following year.
