Usher, Darius Rucker join tornado relief concert lineup

OKLAHOMA CITY, May 28 (UPI) -- Usher and Darius Rucker have been added to the lineup of performers for the "Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert" in Oklahoma, NBC said.

Usher is a coach alongside concert organizer and headliner Blake Shelton on NBC's "The Voice."

The fundraising concert is to take place Wednesday at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

Shelton's wife Miranda Lambert and fellow country music stars Vince Gill and Reba are also confirmed as performers.

The event will raise money for the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund, NBC said.

The natural disaster, which ripped through the town of Moore, Okla., May 20, killed 24 people, injured 240 and displaced tens of thousands.
