LOS ANGELES, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- U.S. actress and TV personality Leah Remini has announced she will not be part of the Season 2 panel of the female-centric chat show "The Talk."

Known for her acting roles on "The King of Queens" and "Saved by the Bell," Remini was one of the co-hosts of "The Talk" last season along with Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Sara Gilbert and Julie Chen.

"It is official: I am sorry to say that I have NOT been asked back on the show. Sorry to my fans. U worked so hard! I adore u guys," quoted Remini as saying via Twitter.

When a fan asked online why she won't be brought back on the show, Remini replied, "No reason was given."

Peete's future with the show is also unclear, said.

"Still under contract but have not been picked up yet. #fingerscrossed #realtalk," Peete said in her own Twitter message.
