LOS ANGELES, June 30 (UPI) -- Joe Rogan is in talks to serve as host of "Fear Factor" when the U.S. reality competition series returns next season, the show's executive producer said.
Matt Kunitz told The Hollywood Reporter there is a "good chance" Rogan will join the new version along with the original show's stunt coordinator Pat Romano and director Rupert Thompson.

The game show premiered in 2001 and ran for six seasons with Rogan as host.
NBC announced recently it had ordered eight episodes of a retooled version of the series, which challenges contestants to complete disgusting or terrifying tasks for money.
