Pauly D to cover red carpet at Grammys

BURBANK, Calif., Feb. 12 (UPI) -- "Jersey Shore" star DJ Pauly D is to serve as "Access Hollywood's" guest correspondent for the 53rd annual Grammy Awards show, the show's producers said.

"Access Hollywood's" coverage of Sunday's prize presentation is scheduled to air Monday.

As guest correspondent for the syndicated show, DJ Pauly D will help interview nominees and presenters of the Grammy Awards, capture behind-the-scenes moments and provide a unique perspective at the music awards show.

"Last year, Pauly nicknamed me 'Billy B the Sensation.' I'm still trying to make it stick," "Access Hollywood" anchor Billy Bush said in a statement Friday. "Pauly is a one-liner machine and very sexy."

"I am excited to be alongside Billy Bush on the red carpet this year for the Grammy Awards," added Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio. "I'm looking forward to interviewing so many of my favorite artists whose songs I have been playing my whole life."

The 2011 Grammy Awards are to air live Sunday on CBS.
