New Boyz II Men album set for release on Oct. 20

Aug. 26 (UPI) -- The R&B vocal group Boyz II Men is releasing a new album called Under the Streetlight on Oct. 20.

The set will feature "a personal selection of timeless songs chosen by founding member Nathan Morris, tenor Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris, plus one original song -- all with a Boyz II Men twist," a press release said. The album will also include guest appearances by Brian McKnight, Amber Riley and Take 6.

"Growing up and experiencing doo-wop music definitely influenced Boyz II Men's sound," Nathan Morris said in a statement. "Under the Streetlight has been a passion project that we've wanted to create for a while to bring us back to our roots and make the music that inspired us when we first started the group."

Boyz II Men is in residency at the Mirage in Las Vegas. The group also frequently tours.
