The Weeknd, Coldplay, Kesha join 2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival

July 18 (UPI) -- The Weeknd, Coldplay, Kesha and more are set to headline the upcoming 2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival.

The two-day event is set to take place on Sept. 22 - 23 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will also feature performances from DJ Khaled, Chris Stapleton, Lorde, Kings Of Leon, Big Sean, P!NK, Miley Cyrus, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Niall Horan, David Guetta, Thomas Rhett and Harry Styles.

Other artists such as Migos, Hasley, Flume, French Montana, Niall Horan, All Time Low, Khalid, and Julia Michaels will be performing during iHeart's Daytime Village set located across the Luxor Hotel and Casino on Sept. 23.

Tickets for the concert are set to go on sale for Capital One cardholders starting July 25 and for the public on July 28.

The festival will be broadcasted live on iHeartMedia radio stations and through The CW Network through their website and app. The CW will then air a television special on Wednesday, Oct. 4 and Thursday, Oct. 5.

"Our goal every year is to create the most diverse music festival in the world,"president of entertainment enterprises of iHeartMedia John Sykes said in a statement. "The only thing these artists have in common is they are all best in their class."

The 2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival marks the first major performance for Kesha after releasing her new single "Praying" from upcoming album Rainbow. The pop star is coming off her long-running legal battle with producer Dr. Luke.
