Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Katy Perry teased a new song "Chained to the Rhythm" on Twitter on Tuesday following the announcement she will be performing at the Grammys on Feb. 12.

She tweeted, "Why are we all so chained..." along with the date Feb. 10 and a clip of the song. The video features a disco ball chained to Perry's ankle as she walks in silver stilettos and a few beats of the song play in the background.

This will be the 32-year-old's first single since last summer's song, "Rise" -- an Olympic anthem she co-wrote.

The pop star also debuted a new look -- platinum blonde hair. She was first seen with blonde hair at her boyfriend Orlando Bloom's 40th birthday in January and has since posted a picture on Instagram of herself with frosty platinum locks with the caption, "New life who dis."
